A practical widget for your definition needsThis practical widget allows you to look up the definition of any word. It also shows you Today's Word (word of the day) along with the definition. Today's Word is from dictionary.reference.com

To look up the definition of a word, type it in the text box and click find. You'll be taken to a page at freedictionary.org for the definition and other useful information on that word.

You can customize the widget by changing the background color and other settings.

To conveniently get to the settings page, click on the gear icon on the lower left hand corner.

This widget can be re-sized to 1 x 1, which will hide the word of the day.
