All you have to do is highlight the blogroll, click the browser button (to the right of the address bar) and the blogroll will be saved as a folder in "Other Bookmarks." The title of the page and the current date are used to create the title of the folder.
The extension has been tested for Blogspot/Blogger and WordPress blogs, and was designed primarily with those in mind. The extension will (generally) work on other blogging platforms such as Typepad and LiveJournal.
Certain Blogspot blogrolls have a pair of links for each item on the list: a link to a site and a link to the most recent post on that site. This extension ignores the second link (i.e. the link to a particular page).
