Overview

A free tool for encrypting/decrypting files with a unique design for easy and safe sharing. This tool is only available in the US.

Byte Armor is a file encryption/decryption tool that makes it quick and easy for you to encrypt a file and share it securely. Simply provide a "public key" and a file and Byte Armor will return a 128 bit AES encrypted version of your file. The software does all its work in memory now files are written or persist beyond the one time interaction with our site. The software will encrypt your file with a unique private key and store that information in a database, just the private key and a few other things. None of the information can be used to identify the original file or person who encrypted it. You can provide the encrypted file to it's destination and then send the public key using an alternate medium. The target user can decrypt the file by using the public key using Byte Armor. You have the optional ability to set a date range for decryption, the software will not decrypt files that fall outside the valid decryption range. All database data is also encrypted to provide the highest protection. This software uses fairly strong encryption and as such we have locked it to only work for IP addresses from the US.
