Instantly create editable PDF forms in Docs with PDFfiller's Google App. Edit, sign, save and share anytime, from any device!The PDFfiller Google Drive App enables you to open documents stored in Google Drive and create PDF online with just a few clicks. To connect the App, start by selecting your document in Google Docs. Go to the More > Open with > Connect more Apps and search for PDFfiller. Click Connect on the PDFfiller App to add it. To use the PDFfiller Google App, simply select a supported document in Google Drive, then click More > Open With > PDFfiller. A fillable version of the PDF will instantly open in the PDFfiller editor. Take advantage of PDFfiller’s powerful tool to create PDF documents.
To create editable fields, click the “Add Fillable Fields” tab on the right; there you will be able to create editable fields for text, numbers, signatures, dates, and photos.
To add a text field, click the “Text” icon, then click the document to place the field. You can move the field around by clicking and dragging it, resize by dragging the dots around the edges, and delete a field by clicking the trash can. All field types can be moved, resized, or deleted this way.
You can add hints or instructions for each field, and they will appear whenever a user mouses over or selects that field when filling the document.
Any text field can be marked as Required, and a warning will appear to anyone filling the form if they attempt to submit it to you with an empty required field.
To add a number field, click the “Number” icon, then click the document to place it. Number fields can be customized just like a text field.
To add a checkbox field, select the checkbox option and click the document to place it. When you resize a checkbox field, any additional checkboxes you add will automatically adopt the new size so you do not have to resize each one.
To add a signature field, click the “Signature” icon, then click the document to place it.
To add a date field, click the “Date” icon, then click the document to place it. By default, the date field will display the date it was added to the document, but can be changed unless the field is locked.
To add a photo field, click the “Photo” icon, then click the document to place it.
You can rearrange the order in which users navigate the fields by clicking the “Order” tab and dragging the fields into the desired order.
When you’re done with adding editable fields, click “Save” at the top of the page, and you can then fill or share the document.
