Intervallo is the modern version of the popular Italian RAI TV interlude, back in the days.The Intervallo RAI was the popular TV interlude that the Italian national television was broadcasting to his audience as a filler between programs in the 60s, 70s and 80s, when the commercials were not yet the main economic driver on the TV and the daily schedule did not cover the 24 hours.
“Intervallo” represents the modern interpretation of the RAI version. Instead of black and white images of Italian municipalities and the nostalgic charm of the original version, “Intervallo” is based on an algorithm that extracts continuously and randomly images taken by the Google Streetview vehicles on the Italian territory. “Intervallo” should be appreciated in peace, without haste, at average volume.
