To connect the App, start by selecting your document in Google Docs. Go to the More > Open with > Connect more Apps and search for PDFfiller. Click Connect on the PDFfiller App to add it. To use the PDFfiller Google App, simply select a supported document in Google Drive, then click More > Open With > PDFfiller. A fillable version of the PDF will instantly open in the PDFfiller editor. Take advantage of PDFfiller’s powerful tools to fill PDF forms.
To fill with text, choose the "Text" button and start typing. You can place the text anywhere in the document by moving the text box. To change the font type, click the box with the current font name on the formatting toolbar and choose from the dropdown menu. You can change the font size by clicking the number right next to the font and selecting from the dropdown list. To underline your text, to make it bold or italic, use the "U", "B", and "I" icons. To change the text color, click the color box on the right of the font tools and select the color you want. You can easily remove your text by clicking the trash can icon above the text box.
To fill with a date, click the 'Date' button and place it anywhere in the document; you can resize it using the tree icons.
To fill with a photo, click the “Picture” button in the toolbar, then choose upload or capture. If you select upload, simply navigate to the photo on your computer and select “Open.” Click the photo to select it, then click anywhere on the document to place. Use the arrow icon to move the photo, and the tree icons to resize.
Click the edit icon on the photo to edit before placing it. Crop the photo by dragging the box to the desired size and clicking apply, adjust brightness and color with the sliders, and rotate or flip the photo with a few clicks.
To capture a photo, select capture, allow PDFfiller access to your webcam, choose a picture size, and click “Take.” If you’re happy with your pi, click “Use”.
Then, edit your photo as desired and click “save" to use it later, or “Save and Use” to place the image in the document.
To fill and sign the document, click the "Sign" button on the toolbar, this will open the Signature Manager, which allows you to type, draw, sign, upload, or capture a signature. PDFfiller verified signatures can be placed with one click, and are automatically saved for later use.
To type a signature, simply click the "T" icon and type your name. Your signature will appear in a handwriting-styled font.
To draw, click the fountain pen icon and use your mouse or trackpad to draw your signature by clicking and dragging. You can also adjust the color and thickness of the signature.
To sign with your finger, click mobile device and enter your phone number or email address. Open the link you receive via text message or email on your phone, and follow the instructions to sign with your finger.
To capture a signature, click the webcam icon and allow PDFfiller access to your camera. Then simply sign a piece of paper and hold it up to the camera, so the signature fits inside the blue box. You can then choose to make adjustments to the scan, or use the signature as-is.
To upload a signature, click the arrow icon and navigate to an image of your signature on your computer. Just like with capture, you can then choose to use the signature as-is, or make changes. Available edits include crop, brightness, contrast, flip, rotate, and auto-adjust.
Once you’ve placed a signature, you can use the arrow to move, and the tree icons to resize it. You can add as many signatures as you would like. Your signatures will automatically appear in the signature manager, ready to be placed. You can also remove any signature with the trash can icon.
