Zetseat Apostolic Reformation Church 'Preparing a generation to Christ.Our vision is to make people true disciples of Jesus Christ.
The source of all mankind is God, but because of sin, humanity is separated from its source. It is our mission as a church to bring as many members of humanity as possible back to their source, God, through evangelism and discipleship.
In carrying out this vision, we focus on these four strategic areas:
Bringing spiritual transformation
Focusing on individuals we aim to produce a generation which is truly transformed inwardly, committed to God, to the church and to this vision. We do this by nurturing the born-again spirit and helping it grow strong and mature by teaching the word of God, through spirit-inspired prayer, worship, and fellowship. (Eph 3:-16 and 17)
To ensure that this is effective, every member of the church is part of a group of 24 individuals led by a trained lay pastor.
Bringing social transformation
The family is the foundation of a strong nation and a healthy church. In this day and age, Satan is focused on breaking this foundation around the world through quarrels, insecurities and divorce. As a church we are focused on eradicating this trend (if not, at least reversing it).
To bring tangible transformation to society and the community, we focus on the building block – the family.
Marriage is a principal of God, and we teach Biblical principles about marriage, the family, manhood, womanhood, fatherhood and motherhood.
As a church we strive to help build healthy and happy families – from providing necessary counseling for everything from choosing a fiancée to aiding with wedding preparations and more.
Bringing economical transformation
Even though our main focus is spiritual transformation, we believe that neglecting other areas will have an affect on the spiritual transformation we seek to bring about.
For example, many youth, especially young women who do not have financial security may be led to unwanted relationships for the sake of financial security. This in turn inhibits their freedom to grow spiritually.
Therefore, we cannot ignore other areas that need care. Our approach should be holistic and minister to the whole person – spirit, soul and body.
