Pacman was born of the hand of Tohru Iwatani, designer of Namco. He went out one night to eat pizza with his friends and when he took the first piece and look at the shape that was left, Pacman was born.
Pacman's original name is Paku-Paku (which in Japanese means to eat), but when they arrived in the United States they changed the name to Pacman because of the similarities of the words "Puck" and "Fuck".

The best player in the world It was Billy Mitchel that more than 20 years ago got a score of 3,333,360 points reaching level 255 (penultimate level) with the first life.
From level 18 the ghosts do not turn blue.
To deceive the ghosts better you have to turn aside and then to the contrary quickly.
Each ghost has its personality and a corner in which it is more effective. From time to time the ghost will disperse and return to its corner.
Pacman is faster on a clear path of points, interesting to escape when in trouble.

The ghosts
BlinkyBlinky Your territory is the upper right corner. It is the most dangerous ghost of all. It has the ability to locate you on the map and catch you unawares with surprising changes of direction. It's very fast.
PinkyPinky Your territory is the upper left. It's fast but more predictable than Blinky. He can read the player's movements with the lever so he will not let you escape easily once he has seen you.
ClydeClyde He is slow and does not pursue Pacman intentionally, he is limited to being in a nearby region. Your area is the bottom left.
Inky Inky The slowest of all. He is very fearful and if he finds Pacman he may run away from him. He likes to be in the lower right corner of the maze.
