Phineas And Ferb, The Fast And The Phineas gameIn the real world, many stepbrothers do not get along well with each other. But in the fictional world and story of Phineas and Ferb, that is not the case.
Phineas and Ferb is an animated television series of Disney Channel. It first aired on August 17, 2007. The story and characters were made by Jeff Marsh and Dan Povenmire who also made a series for Nickelodeon entitled Rocko's Modern Life.
The story is mainly about Phineas Flynn and his English stepbrother named Ferb Fletcher having their summer vacation. To avoid boredom during their long vacation, they think of eccentric things to do each and every day. They climb the Eiffel Tower, fight a mummy, locate Frankenstein's brain, build a really fancy and modern restaurant or a really extensive golf course and a roller coaster in their backyard, explore Atlantis, make a chain of lemonade stores, and many other things, all in a day's work.

For average kids, these things may seem impossible to accomplish within a day. However, Phineas and Ferb are not ordinary kids. They are geniuses. Phineas plans what they will do for the day while Ferb builds it.
On the other hand, their older sister named Candace always get annoyed with the activities they do and the inventions they make along with other kids in the neighborhood who are their friends. Thus, Candace tries every single day to bust his brothers by reporting to their mom what they are doing. However, her mom does not believe her and when she is about to show her the invention of Phineas and Ferb, it disappears instantly leaving her frustrated.
Phineas and Ferb have a pet platypus named Perry. They have no idea that Perry is a secret agent called Agent P and is often tasked to stop the plans of evil genius Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz. The confrontation between Agent P and Doofenshmirtz always cause the instant destruction or disappearance of Phineas and Ferb's work.

Though Phineas and Ferb are the main characters of the story, Phineas is considered to be the main protagonist in the show. Phineas is an intelligent and creative boy who can be talkative at times. On the other hand, Ferb is an engineering genius who lets his brother do the talking. He rarely speaks and utters only a sentence or two when he does. Phineas' face is modeled on the letter P- thus the triangular shape- while Ferb's face is modeled on the letter F which explains its rectangular shape.

Candace is also considered to be a main character in the story and is always shown to have only two obsessions- to bust his brothers and to be with Jeremy whom she really wants to be her boyfriend. Her little brothers also have implied love interests in the story- a kind and cute girl named Isabela for Phineas and the hot daughter of Doofenshmirtz named Vanessa for Ferb.
The uniqueness of the show made it popular among children and adults alike. Many Phineas and Ferb games can be played online as flash games.
