That's where The Egg Basket bookmark app excels: it allows you to save a code snippet that will retain its formatting.

Bookmarks are saved as "eggs in an egg basket". Once you've created an egg, you can view it from The Egg Basket app at http://codelikeachicken.com/?#/TheEggBasket. Once there, you can view and manage all of your eggs or add additional eggs. This Chrome extension is provided as a companion to The Egg Basket application. Allowing you to capitalize on the application's features, without having to navigate away from your current browsing location.
