Alerts for FJChecks for a login from FJ. If logged in, connects to realtime events server.
Pop-ups chrome notifications and makes sounds by default. Can easily be disabled.
Has notifications page.
Has logout link.
Shows current # of unread alerts.
Good:
Instant. Get alerts soon as they happen.
Faster and easier to use than the site.
Bad:
Chrome won't allow HTML in alerts. If you click a chrome alert, it just redirects you to FJ or if you're already on it, opens your alert box.
