Provides simple social network sharing of visited sites directly from Chrome.SimpleShare currently supports Facebook, Twitter, Google+, GMail, and email sharing of visited sites, via an easy access icon in the Chrome address bar. The extension calls the supported services' own web posting interfaces and therefore requires that the user be logged in to the used services via their web interfaces. However, because of this architecture, the extension itself does not not need to be authorized to access your social service accounts, or store any credentials for them - just install it and it works!

SimpleShare requires access to your tabs and to your web data. These access permissions are required in order for the extension to be able to present an icon as a page action on suitable pages (i.e. HTTP/HTTPS URIs) and in order to be able to share said page addresses with the social network services that it supports. If you are concerned about these permissions you are welcome to browse and audit the SimpleShare source code on the link below.
