fb cleanr

remove the ad-sidebar from fbSee photos for exactly what it does, a picture is worth a 1000 words.

fb.cleanr will remove both the ad sidebar from your homepage and fan-pages it will also remove some of the left-side mess.

it loads on initial page load of facebook and also if you switch to a different tab and switch back to the tab that has facefook.

Why does it look at all windows/tabs? Because the extension is looking to see if the active tab/window is facebook.com If and only if it is facebook will the extension run. If it's not facebook then nothing happens and the extension is not run.

Why does it have access to facebook data? It only has access to what is actually on your computer screen on facebook, and then it is literally just looking for HTML element tags that match the ads, it is not looking/storing/sharing any other data at any time.
