Browse Google's cache of webpages rather than viewing the original. This extension uses www.webcache.googleusercontent.com to fetch cached versions of websites. Sometimes sites aren't available in the cache.
The advantage of this would be if a website is down or a server has been overloaded. This extension would serve to get the content even if it's no longer available.
Another use of this extension is for developers who want to see how Google has stored their website.
Future updates would include 1) a checkbox to easily disable the extension 2) no redirection if a cache is unavailable 3) making use of Wayback Machine if there's no Google cache.
------- IMPORTANT NOTE: -------
Because sites aren't always cached, the extension has an icon in the top right of the browser. The user can easily disable the extension when it isn't necessary. When he/she needs it again, the extension will be readily available at chrome://extensions.
