Saves current page as .webloc fileThis extension lets you save your page as a .webloc file by clicking on icon or hotkey.
.weblock files on OS X are shortcuts for websites and can be previewed in Finder by clicking ⌘+Y
If you click on a .webloc file, it will be opened in your browser.

It is super useful together with Always Clear Downloads extension, which clears up your Downloads List automatically: http://inem.at/_always_clear

Don't forget to set up Keyboard Shortcut for this extension.
Go to Preferences → Extensions → Keyboard Shortcuts (scroll to the bottom of the page)
Recommended combination is ⌘+⇧+S

If you need same functionality for Windows/Linux, you can use extension Save as Shortcut: http://inem.at/_save_shortcut
But it shows an unneeded additional popup.
