Highlights the comments on HN to make them easier to see the depth of the discussionHighlights comments on the Hacker News stories. To increase the depth visibility of comments and keep track of who or where you are reading or replying.

The permissions needed are to read what the url is (to show the icon on the right page) and to update the page with the javascript to add the coloring. There is nothing else happening in the extension.
All the updates so far have been fixing bugs.
Bugs fixed:
completely broken, updated js.
