Asciify ALL the websites!ASCII emoticons for the web.
This extension enables ASCII emoticons and text generators for all websites you are surfing on.
For example you type (bear) and will get this: ʕ·͡ᴥ·ʔ
Unlike most other emoticon packages out there the recipient doesn't need to install anything because the emoticons are just text.
296 emoticons are built-in by default and adding your own is a matter of seconds. You'll find the full list in the options page of the extension and at http://asciimoji.com
To use ASCIImoji in your own project, get the sources here: https://github.com/hpcodecraft/ASCIImoji
There's also a jQuery plugin!
For more info see http://asciimoji.com - you can also submit new emoticons for the upcoming releases there! \( ゚ヮ゚)/
