自動的にその日のフォルダーを作成して保存することができますので、毎日大量のファイルをダウンロードする必要がある場合には大変便利です。
日付のフォルダー名はデフォルトで「yyyy-MM-dd」になっています。拡張機能の設定ページ（chrome://extensions/）からオプションページを開けば、フォルダー名の変更も可能です。
