A chrome extension from 1self to track how many times you visit popular and your favorite websites.Keep track of the websites you visit and which ones you visit the most.
Visit Counter only tracks the websites you want it to and ignores all others. It's fully configurable.
Visit Counter will not work in Incognito Mode unless you enable it.
Visit Counter only tracks your visits at a host level. This means that it just looks at the domain you're visiting (e.g. google) and doesn't pay any attention to anything else in the website address.
Your data is entirely private and will not be shared or sold unless you choose it to be.
---
Visit Counter by 1self counts how many visits you've made to popular websites and any others that you want to track.
You can visualize, analyse, comment on and share your data.
All data gets sent up to your own personal storage on the 1self platform (1self.co for more information).
Permissions required:
- Read your browsing history
By default the extension does not read your browsing history. This permission is required in order to read the URL (web address) you're visiting in each tab.
Optional permissions requested:
- Read and change your browsing history
After install you'll be asked if you'd like Visit Counter to look back into your history to see when you visited the selected websites. In order to do this it requires the "read and change your browsing history" permission. It will never change your history, just read it.
- Location
You can optionally permit Visit Counter to log the location at which you're visiting websites and build up a picture of where you were when you were doing your browsing.
