Tab Wrangler

Automatically closes inactive tabs and makes it easy to get them back - Automatically closes idle tabs after designated time

But don't worry, auto-closed tabs are stored safe and sound in the Tab Corral. Highly configurable, and totally awesome. It will save your computer.

It's just like history, when the page is closed, anything you were doing with it is gone. I recommend the lazarus extension if this is a problem for you. If you re-open it, it will be a fresh page.
