This is an extremely simple extension that I made after trying to use the Genius annotation and encountering frequent bugs that…This is an extremely simple extension that I made after trying to use the Genius annotation and encountering frequent bugs that distracted from the awesome features Genius offers. When a user clicks this extension's icon, the current URL is parsed and 'genius.it/' is prepended to the appropriate place (before the root url and after 'http://') in order to activate the Genius platform easily on any website.

This was created out of interest in Genius and is in no means a replacement for the official extension, it's simply something I tinkered around with for myself.
