Instantly get PDF signed with PDFfiller extension. Edit, sign, save and share anytime, anywhere, from any device! The PDFfiller Google Chrome extension enables you to get your PDF documents signed in the PDFfiller editor with few clicks. Save time by eliminating the need to download attachments, save and search for files, or upload documents to your account!

Simply click the “Fill” button when it appears on an email attachment or online, and an editable version of the PDF will instantly open in the PDFfiller editor ready for you to get it signed.

To use the PDFfiller Chrome extension in Gmail, select a PDF attachment, and click the fill button. Use PDFfiller to get your PDF documents signed as well as to share via email or SMS. Alternatively, you can search for the document you need and an orange fill button will appear next to any PDFs in the search results. Easily sign, email or fax your PDF documents. You can even add a PDF directly from a website -- just click the orange fill button and the linked PDF will open in PDFfiller, where you can get your documents signed.

Try our powerful editing tools first. When you’ve finished editing your document, click the “Done” button. Then, click “SendToSign” on the next page. You can also select the document in “My Documents”, then click “SendToSign” on the right. PDFfiller offers two options to request digital signatures, “SendToEach” and “SendToGroup”. “SendToEach” allows you to send up to 20 individual signature requests, and you’ll receive a unique copy of the document for each signature. “SendToGroup”, which requires a professional plan subscription or higher, allows you to send an individual signature request to up to 20 people, and all signatures will appear on the same document.

To create your signature request, start by adding the email address and name a recipient. You can add more recipients by clicking “Add Another Recipient”.

For each recipient, you can specify signature only or full editing access to the document by clicking the desired setting, require them to take a photo with their webcam after signing for identity authentication by checking the box for this option, and request additional documents be uploaded when they return the signed document by typing the name or description of the desired document.

You can also add a custom subject and message to the request by typing over the default text in each field.
“SendToEach” requests also have the option to use standard security, or enhanced security to require a PIN to access the document. We’ll randomly generate a PIN for you, or you can create your own by typing over the default PIN. For security purposes, you must provide the PIN to recipients on your own.

“SendToGroup” allows you to type an envelope name to label your groups, only you will be able to see it.
Business Plan subscribers can also use the “Sign in Order” option to set the order in which “SendToGroup” recipients receive their request and sign the document.

Check the “Sign in Order” box, then either drag or type to the left of each recipient to set your desired order. When you’re ready to send your signature request, click the “SendToSign” button at the bottom of the page. We’ll send your recipients an email with a direct link to the document.

To check the status of a signature request, navigate to “Sent and History”, then “SendToSign History” on the left in “My Documents”. You can see an at a glance status via the icons in “My Documents”, or select a document and click “Status” for detailed information.

The status page will show you whether the document has been signed and returned, and allows you to view and download attached authentication photos and additional documents, if you requested them.

You can also download and view the signature certificate for the document, and view the signed document from this page. You will also be able to view the certificate and status of a document in “My Documents” by selecting it and clicking the corresponding button. Once a document is returned, it is read-only and cannot be modified. For a document that hasn’t been signed yet, you can send reminders, change the settings for each recipient, and add or remove recipients on the status page.

With PDFfiller’s new Google Chrome extension, getting your PDF documents signed online has never been easier! In addition, you can search, create, edit, or export your documents through email or fax using PDFfiller's robust features.
