It can communicate with hardware over the serial port. It hosts a signal matrix of various sizes. When there is no hardware connected everything can work with webaudio modules. Currently the following webaudio modules are supported.
- VCO
- VCF
- VCA
- ADSR
- Noise
- Delay
It can serve as a full fledged modular synthesizer with external midi support.
On top of the signal matrix a fixed device layer is build. It only delegates to the signal matrix. It provides a known interface for synthesizers to get started easy and to operate more convenient.
Digital configurations can be swapped with analog ones and vica versa. The fixed devices run on digital webaudio modules as well as analog hardware modules.
