Instructions:
When the game prompts for the A button to be pressed on the Xbox 360 controller and your using keyboard press [space] instead.
[Arrow keys]/[Left Analog Stick] controls FEOs movement.
[Shift]/[Left Shoulder] makes FEO move faster.
[Z]/[Right Shoulder] makes FEO jump.
[X]+[Arrow Keys] shoots a raimbro in the direction pressed.
Or [Right Analog Stick] shoots a raimbro in the direction pressed.
Holding the [Z]/[Right Shoulder] makes FEO bounce. You can bounce on top of YOUFOs or SNAKEYs to send them to transcendental bliss.
When a YOUFO disappears it releases a purple jump gem. Collect the purple gems to fly. You can hold 10 gems at a time. Pressing jump when in the air will use a gem and perform a double jump. You can use the jump as many times as you have gems. Just be careful you don't run out in the wrong place.
Use raimbro platforms to refill your raimbros. You can carry up to 100 raimbros when full. Use them wisely, leftover raimbros count as a bonus at the end of each level.
There is a secret art gallery hidden in each (main) level with a 100 point bonus in each. Find them all to maximize your score.
Hit multiple YOUFOs with a single raimbro for combos. Hit 7 YOUFOs to release your true form. True form makes you invincible to YOUFOs only for a short period of time.
LOOMs can be destroyed by shooting many raimbros into them. Avoid the HYPNOIDs while you fill them up. They will eventually pop and give you a large cache of jump gems.
SNAKEYs won't hurt you they can only distract you. Pop them to get rid of them. If you get hit by their venom you will be temporarily blinded.
There is a online leaderboard which is accessed by beating the game. Your final score is determined as follows. Happiness minus seconds it took to beat multiplied by remaining lives. Maximize your score by gaining the most happiness while beating the game in the least amount of time while losing minimal lives.
Good luck. I apologize if the game seems difficult. I built the game fully influenced by my love of classic NES era platformers and I wanted to retain the feel and difficultly of those types of games. If your having trouble getting a feel for the game or if your not enjoying it but would still like to see it played through I've uploaded one of my play through in hopes some will find it helpful.
