Airtame streaming appThe Airtame streaming app for Chromebook allows anyone to share their screen to an Airtame enabled display or projector. The app is compatible with both Airtame 1 & Airtame 2.

Airtame 1 & 2 are wireless HDMI devices that connect to the HDMI port of any screen or projector. Unlike other wireless HDMI devices, nothing is plugged into your computer or smartphone.

The Airtame Chromebook app allows users to stream their full screen or just a single Chrome Tab.
Audio can be added to the stream with the click of a button. When adding audio the streaming will be adjusted with a 2 second buffer/delay, to ensure stable playback on the receiving screen*.

Simply download our app and stream your content to the screen from any major computer platform, tablet, or smartphone.

Mark that the Airtame Streaming app isn’t yet available for ARM based Chromebooks (E.g. Mediatek, Nvidia Tegra & Qualcomm Snapdragon processors). We are working to add this functionality in the near future.

*What to expect performance-wise?

On high-end computers (like Dell Chromebook 13 - 7310), you can expect a smooth stream at 30 fps with high quality, assuming that your network can support that.

For lower end computers, e.g. with processor n2840 or similar and 2 to 4 GB RAM, you should not expect the same quality.
For a video stream, you can expect 16-17 fps with lower quality. For static images or presentations, you can expect 20 fps with medium quality.
