A free app for reading Windows CHM filesCurrently in BETA - being updated semi-regularly to extend file compatibility.

Chumium reads files from local drives, so can can be used on or offline.

**NOTE: If you have issues with a particular file, please let me know here under the "Support" tab, and include as much info as possible such as the file name, and where I can obtain a copy of the file.

An affordable paid version with more features such as searching, bookmarks, zoom, multiple instances, loading from links and Google Drive integration is currently in development. Watch this space...

Installation permissions mentions sharing data with “device 127.0.0.1” - this is just the address of your local machine. None of your data is sent anywhere. This may change in the future for error reporting, but will be opt-in on install.
