Friends of the Asian Elephant Foundation is organization behind the world’s first elephant hospital. Their main objective is to help sick or injured elephants to enjoy improved living conditions and eventually survive and adjust themselves within natural surroundings. FAE is founded since 1993 by Miss Soraida Salwala in the hope of not having to say ‘our last elephant’ too soon.
