The main idea of the Schedule & Send Email Add-On is that you schedule emails on a regular basis in order to send Spreadsheet data automatically. This is especially required when you create reports or dashboards with the use of the Google Analytics Spreadsheet Add-On.
With this add-on you can convert an individual sheets or your entire spreadsheet as PDF, Microsoft Excel or CSV files and send it to one or more people. For this you can select the paper size e.g. A4 or A5 as well as the paper layout e.g. portrait or landscape.
You can then send the sheet(s) manually to one or more recipients. For sending your sheets to several recipients simply add several email addresses in the designated text field and separate several addresses via a semicolon. Choose the “Send Email Now” for manual sending. Please notice, that your settings will not be saved when using just manual sending.
Or set up a schedule on a hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis for reporting automation. For this, choose the “Save & Schedule” button to save your predefined settings and start scheduling your emails. You will be noticed that scheduling is enabled via a green bar at the top of the add-on.
To disable scheduling for one specific person, delete this person in the email addresses field. Save and schedule your settings again.
To disable scheduling for all persons, click on the “Disable Schedule” button. You will be noticed that scheduling is disabled via a red bar at the top of the add-on.
